About Seaquins
A shared history. A new expression.
SEAQUINS began with a shared history in artistic swimming and a desire to take it beyond competition. Founded by former teammates Maria and Katerina, it brings years of training, trust and artistic exploration into a new kind of performance.
The Founders
Maria and Katerina lead the creative direction of SEAQUINS. Together, they shape the concept and choreography of each production, working closely with their team and creative collaborators to bring every idea to life.

Maria Alzigkouzi-Kominea
Co-founder · Creative Director · Architect
Maria was a member of Greece’s national artistic swimming team for 14 years and represented Greece at the Tokyo Olympic Games. She earned five European Championship medals, including gold, and placed fourth at the World Championships. Drawing on her background in architecture, she co-creates SEAQUINS’ concepts and choreography with Katerina, designing the sets, costumes and visual world of each production.

Katerina Foukala
Co-founder · Creative Director · Coach
Katerina spent 12 years on Greece’s national artistic swimming team, placing sixth at the World Championships and fourth at the European Championships. As a coach, she has won the Greek Cup three times. Also an entrepreneur in fitness and coaching, she co-creates SEAQUINS’ concepts and choreography with Maria, shaping the performance and artistic direction of each production.
The Team
We have always moved as one.
Our team brings together former teammates from Greece’s national artistic swimming team, including Olympic team members, European medalists and World Championship finalists. Their shared experience gives each production its precision, connection and character.
